Gardena, CA – (January 5, 2006) – Clarion Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of mobile entertainment systems, introduces an all-new family of subwoofers in 2006. The family of subwoofers feature cast aluminum baskets, large voice coils, hybrid cone structures along with many other technologically enhanced features.
Clarion’s new full-line of subwoofers include PXW series with 10 to 15 inch dual voice coils and PFW series for shallow mounting requiring only 3 inch depth. SRW series includes aluminum voice coil former for increased power handling, foam rubber composite, magnet boot and chrome platted spring-loaded terminals. The SW series feature polypropylene cones and foam composite surround. Clarion subwoofer enclosures are designed and constructed to ensure each enclosure is perfectly matched to the parameters of each driver.
“Our new subwoofers offer a broad selection of sizes and power output all encompassing the latest features and high tech materials,” states Ralph Dominguez, Clarion’s Senior Product Planning Manager.
Clarion’s 2006 subwoofer product line will be available in February 2006.
