Clarion Goes Portable With Next Generation N.I.C.E. (Navigation In-Car Entertainment)

Gardena, CA – (January 5, 2006) – Clarion Corporation of America’s next generation Navigation In-car Entertainment system, the N.I.C.E. P200 goes portable with a 4-inch digital touch-screen TFT LCD monitor and built-in rechargeable battery.

Clarion’s N.I.C.E. P200 is the ultimate navigator, entertainer and organizer. With simple destination input via the touch-screen, turn-by-turn voice prompts and selectable route guidance this unit is all about convenience and easy operation. It even has instant recall of your last 40 destinations and includes 2 million points of interest in its database.

“This portable system incorporates the latest innovative technologies, and is an invaluable tool for navigation, maintaining contact information and as an entertainment device that stores a tremendous amount of information on it’s 20GB hard drive. It offers many entertainment capabilities such as music, video and digital image storage and playback and has a USB 2.0 port,” states Ralph Dominguez, Clarion’s Senior Product Planning Manager.

The NICE P200 is versatile and promotes mobility. Sync your contacts, schedule and address book with your PC, N.I.C.E. P200 holds up to 4,000 address book entries. It has an A/V input and output for external sources and comes with a durable suction cup window mount and cradle with built-in GPS antenna.

The portable N.I.C.E. P200 will launch in March 2006 with an M.S.R.P. of $899.99.
