CZ505E features a control panel layout that provides intuitive access to functions. Instead of small buttons cluttering the face, the controls are clustered in zones near the prominent control dial while maintaining a smoothly elegant surface. The 13-segment 2-line display on the CZ505E allows numbers and characters to be displayed clearly - in all lighting conditions. Displayed information can be understood at a glance, during the day or at night.

Built-in Bluetooth^® hands-free and audio streaming

CZ505E’s built-in wireless Bluetooth interface supports HSP/HFP for hands-free operation and phonebook download. You can easily communicate with the outside world by listening to phone calls through the car’s audio system and talking through the embedded microphone. And with A2DP/AVRCP support, you can enjoy music streamed from your mobile phone.

Superior iPod^® and iPhone^® connectivity

Just connect your iPod and iPhone to the source unit’s USB port to access and play music through your car audio system. Operate your iPod and iPhone using source unit controls, including ABC Search. Your iPod and iPhone battery is charged while connected to the source unit, so it's ready to go at full power the moment you reach your destination.

Front auxiliary input lets you easily connect to external sources

Beat EQ for customisable sound

In addition to providing 3 preset equalisation patterns — BASS BOOST, IMPACT, and EXCITE — Clarion’s Beat EQ even lets you freely customise the level and range of the bass, midrange and treble portions of each pattern. You can tune the sound to your liking, depending on the category of music, for a more fulfilling listening experience.

MAGNA BASS EX for dynamic bass resonance

Clarion’s MAGNA BASS EX boosts the bass by nearly 12 dB, at even lower frequencies of around 50 Hz — lower than that of ordinary loudness circuits which are at around 100 Hz — to provide extra-low frequency impact. It even automatically compensates the volume level to ensure well-balanced dynamic bass at any level.

Built-in High and Low Pass Filters

The CZ505E embeds a special flash memory that protects all the user’s stored settings and favourites, even if the unit is completely disconnected from the vehicle’s power supply.

With 2 sets of audio pre-outs, with 2 channels each, you are free to add external power amplifiers to create a more powerful, sophisticated audio system. What’s more, the 2 volt pre-outs ensures a pure, high quality signal for the entire sound system.
