MAGNA BASS EX for dynamic bass resonance

Now, Clarion’ s new MAGNA BASS EX boosts the bass by nearly 12 dB, at even lower frequencies of around 50 Hz — lower than that of ordinary loudness circuits which are at around 100 Hz — to provide extra-low frequency impact. It even automatically compensates the volume level to ensure well-balanced dynamic bass at any level.

Beat EQ for user customisable sound

In addition to providing 3 preset equalisation patterns — BASS BOOST, IMPACT and EXCITE — Clarion’ s Beat EQ allows you freedom to customise the level and range of the bass, midrange and treble portions of each pattern. You can adjust the sound to your liking, depending on the genre of music, for a more fulfilling listening experience.

3-band parametric equaliser

The entire sound spectrum is separated into high, medium and low ranges. The level of each can be adjusted separately. Customise the sound to suit your taste and your car.

Low Pass Filter for Subwoofer

Switching on the Low Pass Filter (LPF) will send only the low frequency range through specified outputs to ensure superb performance with a connected subwoofer. A must if you have or plan to add a subwoofer to your system.

4 × 45 W with MOS-FET power amp

CZ201A has a MOS-FET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) power amplifier capable of delivering 4 x 45W of high quality sound with superior linearity and less distortion than conventional power amps even with the volume cranked up.

2V / 2-channel audio pre-out

2V / 2 channels output with switchable rear / subwoofer control.
