New Clarion Marine Unit Makes a Splash

Gardena, CA - (January 6, 2005) - Clarion Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of mobile entertainment systems, will be continuing our exceptionally popular marine line in 2005 with the new CMD4.

This marine head unit features improved cosmetics and increased power from last year’s XMD3. The marinized front panel, water sealed media access door and inputs for the Marine Wired Remote make this unit ideal for the boating environment. The unit then becomes the perfect centerpiece with a high definition positive LCD display and CeNet control of an optional TV tuner, 6-disc changer and Sirius Satellite radio receiver.

“Our marine units have always been exceptionally well received in the boating community, and we expect the CMD4 to continue this tradition,” said Jerry Bedoy, Clarion’s Product Category Manager. He continued, “Pair this unit with our new marine speakers and you’ve got an unbeatable system.”

The unit also features Clarion’s Magi-Tune+ Tuner with 18 FM/6 AM presets, Magna Bass EX and 2-band parametric EQ. With 212 Watts across 4 channels, users will be sure to make a splash with this unit.

The MSRP for the CMD4 is $449.99.
