Electrical Application Engineer Bilingual

Clarion Corporation of America, a global leader in mobile electronics, is seeking a bilingual Electrical Application Engineer for its office in Novi, Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Obtains specifications and requirements from accounts and relays technical and program information to our local / overseas staff
  • Facilitates clarification and agreement between Customer and Clarion for specifications in doubt
  • Attends periodic cross-functional team meetings and internal / customer technical reviews
  • Communicates with our suppliers / technology partners
  • Supports the validation testing process at all levels (vehicle, subsystem, component and sub-component)
  • Creates weekly / monthly activity reports
  • Supports the program management team
  • Participates in the development of and tracking of Program Schedule

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Three years experience working with Automotive OEM multimedia products
  • Bilingual skills (English / Japanese) – Must be able to read, write and speak fluently
  • Strong computer skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills
  • CAN experience or involvement in SW development/debug is a plus
  • Reception evaluation experience is a plus
  • Some travel required
