Director of Sales

Clarion Corporation of America, a global leader in mobile electronics, is seeking a Director of Sales for the Western United States (west of the Mississippi).

Responsibilities

  • Implements sales objectives, promotions, and programs
  • Works with internal and external sales staff on achieving sales goals, and maximizing company profits
  • Communicating company direction and policies to the field
  • Analyzes distribution patterns in the assigned territory and provides recommendations to improve sales
  • Maintains strong relationships with key customers (both current and target)
  • Communicates sales activity and market conditions while participating in monthly and quarterly sales meetings
  • Attends major trade shows and dealer shows
  • Participates in dealer sales meetings

Qualifications

  • A minimum of seven years of car audio sales experience
  • A college degree is preferred
  • Ability to prioritize projects and keep them on schedule
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage internal and external staff and work in harmony with other support groups
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
  • Candidates must live within the territory (west of the Mississippi)
  • Willingness to travel
