Clarion is jointly developing with Hitachi in the fields of ITS vehicle coordinated safety systems, vehicle information terminal systems, and next-generation navigation systems. By achieving functionality on a par with digital home electronics, as well as providing integrated functions with home electronics and PCs within the vehicle environment, we will be supplying on a global scale data communication services that are linked to societal infrastructures, as well as advanced in-vehicle information terminals centered on navigation functions. We are also cooperating with Hitachi in achieving safety, comfort and environmental production through the integrated control with on-board vehicle systems. Especially in the technology pertaining to camera applications, communication systems, and H.M.I. (Human-Machine Interface), we are differentiating ourselves from the competition.
