What is Sirius Satellite Radio?

For uncensored entertainment … choose Sirius

There’s one reason why “shock jock” Howard Stern is moving to Sirius Satellite Radio ... no FCC censorship. This means users get 65 channels of uncensored music, and 55 channel of news, talk, and other entertainment where nothing’s taboo. It all starts from Sirius’ state-of-the-art studios, located in New York City’s Rockefeller Center, where a dedicated team of jockeys are hard at work taking Sirius to the next level.

and E! Entertainment Radio. With Sirius, the emphasis is on the music

and entertainment you want. Best of all, Sirius’ programming is hosted

such as Howard Stern. So tune into Sirius Satellite Radio.

Rely on Sirius rocket science for superior coverage

Only Sirius has three powerful satellites that fly directly above the United States to ensure coast-to-coast coverage. These orbits allow Sirius’ satellites to broadcast from very high angles for a "clear line of sight," and a direct signal to your car without concern for buildings, trees or other objects that might block other satellite radio signals.

Count on S>PLEX technology for superior sound resolution

Sirius employs S>PLEX technology (statistical multiplexing), which optimizes the fidelity on each channel to give you superior digital sound. So rock really soars and jazz really jams. Once you experience Sirius’ more than 120 channels of digital entertainment, you'll never want to leave your car. For more information, visit siriusradio.com.
