Wide-ranging format compatibility
Enjoy a vast selection of movies and music with support of DVD, DivX, as well as MP3, WMA and iTunes AAC data stored on CD or DVD discs.
Direct USB iPod control
Just connect the USB cable that’s included with your iPod to the Clarion unit’s USB input and you get complete control over your favourite music including iPod ABC Search. Depending on your preference, either use the convenient touch screen panel of VZ509E or operate your iPod with the iPod’s control wheel. By connecting the iPod to VZ509E via the optional CCA723 cable, it is possible to enjoy iPod Video on the VZ509E’s monitor.

Built-in High Pass Filter & Low Pass Filter
The internal High Pass and Low Pass filters allow you to set the frequency range of the audio signal that’s output to each channel to best match the acoustic characteristics of the front and rear speakers and the subwoofer.
24-bit D/A converter
Noise generated by conventional DAC ICs is distributed randomly throughout the frequency spectrum, including the audible range. To circumvent this, Clarion adopts a highperformance 24-bit DAC normally only found in expensive home audio systems. Not only does it cancel out unwanted noise well into the non-audible range, but it also extends the S/N ratio for clearer, more realistic sound.
Magna Bass EX
Clarion’s Magna Bass EX boosts the bass by nearly 10 dB at even lower frequencies around 50 Hz — lower than that of ordinary loudness circuits at around 100 Hz — to provide extra-low frequency impact. It even automatically compensates the volume level to ensure well-balanced dynamic bass at any level.
Dedicated rear vision camera RCA input
A dedicated rear vision camera input is equipped, so that you may install an optional camera enabling you to see the area behind your vehicle. The increased view encourages and facilitates safer driving (optional CAA185 required).
