Clarion Debuts All-New High Performance Vehicle Speakers
Stylishly Designed Product Line includes Multi-Axial Models for Custom Fit Applications
Cypress, CA – (January 7, 2014) – Clarion Corporation of America, a leader in consumer and commercial mobile electronics, announced today the introduction of a new high performance line of speakers. The new SRG family of products offer exceptional performance, sophisticated styling, technologically advanced features and flexible mounting with various sizes including models designed specifically for custom fitting.
The new speaker line includes nine all-new models comprised of two 2-way 6-1/2 inch speakers, a component and a coaxial model, three 3-way speaker systems, a 5-way speaker model, two 2-way coaxial speakers in a 4-inch and a 5-1/4 inch, and a 1-inch balanced drive tweeter.
The SRG1623S is a 6-1/2 inch 2-way component speaker system delivering 350 watts of maximum power, 40 watts RMS, with a shallow stamped steel frame. The SRG1623S includes a one inch metalized PEI-balanced drive tweeter with strontium magnet, MIPP woofer cone, water resistant cones, and strontium ferrite magnets.
The next 6-1/2 inch 2-way coaxial speaker system, SRG1623R, outputs 260 watts of maximum power and 40 watts RMS and built-in a one inch metalized PEI-balanced drive tweeter with strontium magnet, MIPP woofer cone, water resistant cones, and strontium ferrite magnets.
The SRG6953R is a 6 x 9-inch 5-Way multi-axial speaker system capable of 600 watts of maximum power and 100 watts RMS, a 2-3/8 inch mid range, a 1-inch PEI balanced drive tweeter, a 3/8 inch and a 5/16 inch dome tweeters.
There are three 3-way multi-axial speakers ranging in size from a 4 x 6-inch to a 6 x 9-inch model. All of the 3-way multi-axial speakers feature MIPP woofer cones for solid bass response. The SRG4633C is a 4x6-inch 3-Way multi-axial speaker system with 200 watts of maximum power handling, 30 watts RMS, a 1-inch PEI Balanced drive mid range, and a 5/16 inch PEI dome tweeter. The SRG6833C is a 6x8 inch 3-Way multi-axial speaker system with 300 watts of maximum power, 50 watts RMS, a 1-inch PEI Balanced drive mid range, and a 5/16 inch PEI dome tweeter. The SRG6933C is a 6x9 inch 3-Way multi-axial speaker system capable of delivering 400 watts of maximum power, 50 watts RMS, and features a 2-3/8-inch PEI cone mid range and a 11/16 inch PEI dome tweeter.
The sleek new speaker cosmetics, and ultimate flexibility with custom fit sizes, makes the new line ideal for multiple automotive applications.

The new SRG speaker line’s MSRP range is from $59.99 to $129.99 and the entire line will be available in Q1 of 2014.
