The mapping database features increased coverage of the continental US and Canada, including appended points of interests. The upgraded operating system will allow searching through the vast amounts of points of interest by phone number or by name, along with icon displays. Getting there will be more interesting with the time to destination display, detour options, and day/night map colors. A DVD containing the updated mapping and operation system can be purchased directly from Horizon Navigation's website for $99.

NICE430 Portable Navigation System mapping update. This simple installed map update will offer our latest map database, featuring increased coverage of the US and Canada, as well increasing the POI (points of interest) total to 12 million. Installation is simple and only requires placing the 2G SD card map database update in the NICE430’s built-in SD card slot.

NOTE: The latest map update will require the new map database SD card being left in the SD card slot, some SD associated features will not be available while the updated mapping is place.
