I have connected the VRX815 to the VCZ625 with the CeNET cable and the VCZ625 is not working. I have the VCZ625 under CeNET and have reset the system and the VCZ625 is still not working. How can I get these two items to work together?

Well these two will not work together using the CeNET cable. You will have to use the RCA audio output from the VCZ625 and connect it to one of the Audio/Video inputs on the VRX815. You will need to also hook up the IR Receiver so that you can control the VCZ625.

When using the VS715 with a VRX610z/VRX6671z, the “DVD” logo scrolls across the screen during start up mode. Once the start up mode is completed and movie begins, the video picture is fine. Also, when a CD is played in the VS715, the “DVD” logo scrolls across the screen, making it impossible to read any of the track information.

Set the video format on the VS715 and VRX610z/VRX6671z to PAL mode. Note: On the VS715, it has to be set on “PAL,” not “PAL 60.”

Draw Back:
Using the Aux input on the VS715 requires the VS715 and VRX610z/VRX6671z to be put into NTSC mode

Other Notes:
Using the TTX7501z TV tuner with the VS715 and VRX610z/VRX6671z works, but requires the VRX610z/VRX6671z to be put back into NTSC mode when the Aux input of the TTX7501 is being used.

The VS715 has an uncharacteristic high audio output when playing CD’s, but not with DVD’s. This high audio output has resulted in distorted audio when CD’s are being played. This problem has been found when the VS715 is used with the following radios: MAX2256, VRX8271, VRX6671z, VRX610, and VRX815.

Modify the RCA patch cords from the VS715 to the head unit. This modification simply requires a 15l ohm resistor to be installed inline with the center conductor of the RCA.

Parts required from Radio Shack:
271-1127  15k-Ohm Resistors
274-337  Inline Phono Jacks (Female RCA Jack) (4 pack)
1) Cut a RCA patch cord in half
2) Solder a 15k-Ohm resistor to the center conductor of a Female RCA Jack.
3) Solder the center conductor of the RCA to the resistor.
4) Solder the outer shielding to the conductor of the Female RCA Jack.

When I select CCD input the display says "AUDIO SOURCE ONLY".

The unit has an orange lead that must see a ground in order to display video. To comply with State/Federal laws, this lead must be tied into the vehicle's parking brake circuit if the unit is placed within the driver's view.
