Clarion Adds 3G Wireless Support To ClarionMiND

Cypress, Calif., (November 23, 2009) – Clarion Corporation of America, a leader in the mobile electronics industry, announces that their ClarionMiND (Mobile Internet Navigation Device) now includes support for wireless data communication via a 3G wireless Internet Modem.

The latest software update pack (UP2.3UR) that includes support for wireless data communication via a 3G wireless Internet Modem is now available to ClarionMiND users for download through the web portal site.

Support for Option USB Wireless modems including the AT&T USB Connect QuickSilver™ has been added and can be accessed through the ClarionMiND Connection menu. This means that users of the ClarionMiND can now enjoy high-speed internet browsing, access to their email and the ability to search POI’s live while on the road with the Local Search from Google Maps™ feature that is built-right into the navigation application.
