ClarionMiND now offering powerful "Local Search from Google™  Maps" as a FREE UPGRADE

Cypress, Calif., (April 17, 2009) – The ClarionMiND strengthens its premium navigation system with the addition of "Local Search from Google™ Maps" to provide virtually unlimited and updated information on desired Points of Interest.   This powerful search tool is fully integrated into the navigation application and combines GPS technology and internet connectivity to find search results either local to your current location or near any location you desire.   Search results are displayed clearly and directly on your personal map.  By simply selecting one of the results, the navigation system will direct you to your destination automatically.

No more worrying whether you will enjoy yourself at your destination!  Whatever point of interest you are looking for; a restaurant, shopping, night-life or many more, this service will help you find a great destination.  Many search results even use a star rating system, which may be linked to user reviews or to their official website, accessible by the ClarionMiND's built-in web browser.  Your ClarionMiND will not only help find your new favorite hot spot but also navigate you there.

Registered ClarionMiND users can now download this latest addition to the exciting new ClarionMiND at no charge (WiFi connection required - normal connection rates may apply).   Once installed, the user can use this easy and powerful search tool whenever and wherever they are wirelessly connected, either by WiFi when stationary, or via Bluetooth Tethering* (Dial Up Networking) when on the road.
