The unique design features a 3.5-inch TFT full color display and offers DVD-video, DivX and iPod Video playback capabilities. The CMV1 includes Dolby Digital playback, USB input for iPod control, shockproof memory along with rear panel AV inputs and outputs, perfect for driving a remote display. Compressed audio sound enhancements are made via BBE® MP (Minimized Polynomial Non-Linear Saturation) generating a vacuum tube sound, restoring harmonics lost during digital compression. The CMV1 offers one-year back-up memory so radio presets are not lost even if the boat is in seasonal storage. The unit provides a full multimedia experience from video playback to satellite radio and is even Bluetooth ready.

Clarion’s completely redesigned flagship marine CD model, CMD6 has a 1-DIN chassis with an oversized face panel. It features a sealed waterproof flip-down front face with rubberized large rotary volume knobs and buttons. The CMD6 includes a large two-line, ten character display, features USB input for iPod, Sirius Direct Connect, instant station recall, and rear panel RCA inputs and outputs. The CMD6 allows for operation with either a wired or wireless remote control and offers one-year back-up memory.
The all-new CMS1 is Clarion’s first mechless marine radio. The CMS1 AM/ FM weather band radio offers iPod direct connect, USB, Sirius Direct Connect, and is wired remote compatible. This mechless remote black box radio connects to a watertight surface-mount wired remote commander, also compatible with an optional gimbal mount.
Three Clarion marine head-units feature CD, MP3 and WMA playback, offer USB input for iPod playback and control, are Satellite Radio Ready, Bluetooth Ready and offer Sirius Direct Connect. All Clarion marine grade units have water intrusion protection and are designed specifically for harsh environments to protect against moisture.
The new M109 is a 1-DIN AM/FM CD source unit with front-panel aux input, MP3 and WMA playback, is Bluetooth Ready (BLT370) and includes an IR remote control. The new M309 single DIN unit features a CeNET bus interface for a CD changer or other peripherals, is Sirius Direct Connect capable, has rear panel RCA input, and wired remote capabilities. This unit offers USB, is Bluetooth, iPod and satellite radio ready. M309 includes the BBE® MP compressed audio sound enhancement with a large white two-line, ten character display and one-year back-up memory. Its durable chassis is stainless steel and it even has a rear connector drip-shield to protect vital parts.
All-new wired remote controls are exclusively compatible to Clarion’s 2009 top marine units except the M109. The MW2 remote has sleek new styling, black with stainless steel surround completely waterproof controls with an easy-to-use button configuration. The MW1 remote offers the same good looks, and includes a large 2-line display with a four-way control button to easily scroll through music files and or seek your favorite radio stations.
Clarion’s new speaker line includes the all –new 6 x 9 - 3-way speakers, 6.5 inch and 7 inch coaxial and component speakers, along with 8 and ten-inch subwoofers.
