At the design stage, which employs 3D CAD, flawless design quality is ensured through optical analysis of lighting, in-device heat analysis, component strength and tolerance analysis. Simulation tools are also employed for ease of assembly in order to further enhance product quality.

Establishing a Production System and Quality Control Structure which is Recognized by the Global Market
Clarion has been proactive in introducing high-definition cameras and X-ray device to check the status of mounting on highly dense circuitry and miniaturized parts, including programming of inspection device to verify product operation. Standardized check operations have been adopted for all production lines, both in Japan and overseas, ensuring that the same high quality is consistently maintained at every Clarion manufacturing facility around the world.

Clarion has established a solid quality assurance system that fully meets the demands of its OEM customers worldwide. As part of this process, all Clarion group manufacturing units have obtained certification for ISO/TS16949, an international quality standard specific to the automobile industry, based on ISO9001. In addition, we are strengthening the quality assurance processes in our safety and security operations where camera sensing systems and communications systems are employed, while working to further enhance our quality assurance systems in order to gain the satisfaction and trust of our customers.
