Clarion Group aims to be a good corporate citizen. To this end, we engage in activities in support of local communities throughout the world. We have developed a wide range of activities in each country, including support for future generations, activities to contribute to local communities, and support (donations) for areas afflicted by natural disasters. Through activities such as these we are actively contributing to the well-being of local communities.
Social Contribution Activities
The whole of the Clarion Group has developed wide range of social contribution activities in each country with initiatives of each office, prioritizing support for areas suffering from natural disasters as well as establishment of friendly relationship with local communities.
Volunteer activities
[ Taking part in events in support of reconstruction from the earthquake disasters ]
◆ Clarion took part in a festival commemorating the first anniversary of the East Japan Great Earthquake held in Koriyama city, in Fukushima Prefecture.
◆ Fukushima’s vigor and enthusiasm for building up its future were transmitted towards the world through stage performances, field and indoor events.
◆ Full amount of profit from Clarion’s charity lottery was donated to Koriyama city.

[ Participation in Saitama City Marathon as Volunteers ]
◆ Saitama City Marathon was held on March 11, to commemorate 10th Anniversary of foundation of City of Saitama as well as to pray for recovery from the East Japan Great Earthquake. Clarion supported the event as a part of activities to contribute to the community. On the day before the event, about 160 Clarion employees as volunteer staffs helped to organize the event.

Clarion, as a part of activities to contribute to the community, has enlisted itself in “Saitama Road Support System” and employees regularly perform clean-up and beautification activities of streets around Headquarters/Technical Center premise.

◆Sea-shore cleaning up in Xiamen
CXEE in China continues steady activities contributing
the localcommunity by collecting garbage on the sea-shore with volunteers from each department. These steady activities were continued in fiscal 2011 as before.
