The following considerations will form part of the evaluation and selection criteria for all goods and services purchased by Clarion Hungary Electronics Ltd.:

During evaluation and selection of our suppliers one of the most important criteria is the purchasing cost of goods and services. We always try to find the best price in order to satisfy our customers with competitive price.

We purchase only unobjectionable quality goods, which are corresponding to the specifications or/and drawings accepted by CHE and our Customers (if required).

We require 100% on time delivery from our suppliers in order to provide the smooth and trouble-free production in our factory. Beside this circumstance we can ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers as well.

About 20-25% of the purchased items come directly from our Asian suppliers currently. However the remaining part is delivered by companies located in Europe but the origin of further 50% of components is also Asia. It means that currently the origin of approximately 80% of our purchased items is Asia. One part of our purchasing policy is the localization. In the future we would like to purchase European origin items as much as possible. In this way we would like to shorten the logistic routes and shorten reaction times in case of quality and delivery problems (after service).

The suitable after service is a very important for us. In case of delivery problems or quality problems irrespectively of detection place (our factory, our customers, market etc.) we need strong support of our suppliers to find the root cause of the problem and take the necessary corrective and preventive actions together.

We are open world-wide to a supplier who can provide components with the highest quality, the best price, 100% on time delivery for the production sites of Clarion.

We evaluate and decide the supplier from the total & following standing point of view; to follow and keep the short production lead time, short delivery lead time, to provide the advanced R&D proposal, to show the customer-oriented service, to follow the environment protection programs.
