Gardena, CA - (January 6, 2005) - Clarion Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of mobile entertainment systems, melds innovation and engineering prowess with the ProAudio speaker line-up. The ProAudio speakers include models such as the SRR6985, SRR1685, SRS1685, SRC4695 and SRC5795.
The SRR6985 (in phase 6-inch x 9-inch) coaxial speaker and SRR1685 (in phase 6 ½-inch) coaxial speaker tout highly rigid glass-fiber cones and tight silk tweeter cones that permit the SRR6985 and SRR1685 to achieve sonic quality, while redefining speaker performance.
Clarion’s SRS1685 (61/2-inch woofer and ¾-inch tweeter) speaker also enhances the music experience with a very smooth and even treble performance by picking up minute signals at low input levels, resulting in a frequency response in excess of 50 kHz.
The SRC4695 (4-inch x 6-inch) two way plate speaker and the SRC5795 (5-inch x 7-inch) two-way plate speaker incorporate a 2-way passive network, which is achieved through the use of large coils known as BUSS-BARS. The coils perform a smooth transition between the woofers and tweeters, while simultaneously maximizing the potential of each speaker.
