The leader in iPod integration
Clarion has a long-standing reputation for offering advanced technology integration. Having worked extensively with Microsoft in the past, it was time to move forward and team up with Apple and their iPod. You can’t set foot out your front door without seeing someone enjoying their favorite music or video on an iPod – Clarion brings this sensory experience to the mobile environment like nobody else.
Fully Graphical iPod Interface
In 2005, Clarion introduced the VRX755VD with the first dedicated graphical iPod interface. Everybody agreed – this was the best mobile iPod solution available on the market at any price from any company. In 2006 – Clarion took this revolutionary interface one step further. The VRX765VD and MAX675VD feature an updated graphical interface that adds access to album and artist information, making finding your favorite song even easier. But that’s not the best part – these units feature the capability of displaying full motion video, direct from an iPod Video, on-screen, through the dock connector. Now you can watch your favorite videos or TV shows while on vacation with the kids or at a car show.
CeNET interface
Clarion developed the EA1251B iPod interface to allow CeNET equipped head units to interface with 3rd generation and new iPods. The EA1251B interface emulates a CD changer, making it compatible with source units back to 2001. The interface allows access to all tracks on your iPod, and will even top up the battery in your iPod. All access is made via the controls on you source unit – if you have a remote control – it will work as well.
Aux input and adapter
Clarion takes care of everyone – maybe you don’t have an iPod and chose an iRiver or Dell DJ and want to connect it to your source unit. Many Clarion source units feature a stereo Auxilliary input on the rear of the deck. Connecting your portable music player, DVD player or even laptop is easier than ever with the CCAAUX. The CCAAUX offers a 1/8-inch head phone jack that is easy to install. On the back are a set of RCA cables that plug into the back of the radio. No need for wires dangling from your dash – the CCAAUX keeps everything neat, tidy and easy to use.
