Environmental Policy

Basic Mission

Understanding that environmental protection is one of the most important issues for the world, and should thus be at the core of business activities, Clarion has committed itself to "maintaining a strong awareness of our place in nature and a commitment to the environment", as well as to "fulfilling our responsibility, as a corporate citizen, for a better society".

Basic Policy

Clarion will take into consideration the potential environmental effects that may arise from the planning, production and sales of products such as car multimedia, and for crucial items set specific objectives and review or revise operations to the extent that is technologically and economically possible, in order to minimize environmental impact.

1. Will abide by laws and voluntary agreements such as pacts related to the environment.

2. Will take measures to curtail the use of pollutants and minimize natural resource depletion, while pursuing energy conservation and recycling, beginning at the product planning stage.

3. Will emphasize energy conservation and waste output in production and sales, with the ideal of creating a society based on a recycling and re-use oriented economy.

4. Will take steps to prevent any harm to the environment due to waste water from our facilities or inadvertent oil or pollutant leakage resulting from accidents.

5. Will strive to protect the local environment through greenery and landscaping, and by taking steps to minimize emanating noise and vibrations.

6. Will notify all workers of our environmental policy, and raise environmental awareness throughout the company through education and training.

7. Will also publicly announce our environmental policy.
